The day began with a hands-on workshop, where the children learned how to grind seeds into flour in a Roman-style kitchen. They also practiced writing in Latin, using wax tablets and styluses, as well as pen and ink on papyrus.
After the workshop, the children explored the palace and its grounds, taking in the intricate mosaic patterns and learning about ancient burial sites. The visit offered a fascinating insight into Roman history and brought their studies to life.
It was a day full of discovery, learning, and inspiration for all!
