Year 5 students had an unforgettable day at the Winchester Science Museum, diving into the wonders of science through exciting hands-on exhibits and interactive displays.

From exploring the planetarium to experimenting with forces, light, and sound, the children were fully engaged in a day of discovery. They had the chance to see science in action, sparking curiosity and inspiring future scientists, engineers, and inventors.

One of the highlights was the interactive space section, where students learned about planets, gravity, and the mysteries of the universe. The hands-on experiments and problem-solving challenges kept everyone busy – so much so that by the time the coach set off home, there were plenty of sleepy but happy faces!

A huge thank you to the museum staff and our amazing teachers for making this trip such a success. What a fantastic way to bring science to life!
