After School Clubs
CODE CLUB: Every Thursday from 3.45-4.45pm in the Jelly Fish Room. We are fortunate enough to be able to offer an exciting new club for children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. It is a computer based club which builds on the mathematical, scientific and creative learning the children do in class. Children will work on projects together, encouraging resilience and teamwork. The children will be involved in digital making and build skills in computational thinking, as well as soft skills like: planning & designing; problem solving; communication, collaboration and sharing; reflecting and improving.
FOOTBALL CLUB: Year 5 and 6 football club is run on a Friday evening from 4pm - 5pm by Mr Hutchings, Chris from Chelsea Football Coaching. The children take part in fun and exciting training sessions, learning new skills, building teamwork and puttin them in to practice in match situations. This year the school has entered into a league with other local schools so that the children can get some xperience of competivie sports.
DRAMA CLUB for KS1: Every Monday and Wednesday after school from 4pm - 5pm. The children spend time playing confidence building games to get themselves ready for looking at a play. The club is fantastic for their confidence building and social interactions, as well as giving them a chance to learn about drama from Miss Morgan and Miss Wells (who has an amateur dramatics background).
MULTI SPORTS CLUB: Multi sports clubs are Tuesday for KS1 4pm-5pm and Thursday for Y3 & Y4 also 4-5. The Multi Sports clubs are run by Pass Shoot Score soccer school with Mr Hutchings as school staff in attendance.
